The Languedoc Cocktail

The Languedoc Cocktail is the perfect aperitif for the holiday season!  Similar to Champagne and cassis, use Blanquette de Limoux in place of Champagne and Muscat St Jean de Minervois in lieu of the cassis.  Toast the holiday season with style.  Thank you to Catherine at Combebelle for the recipe.
The other option if you cannot locate these ingredients is to use a sparkling wine or champagne and add a drop (okay, maybe a FEW drops) of ice wine.  Throw in a raspberry or other festive garnish and you’ve got a simple Christmas cocktail.  Enjoy!
